These resilient women owe their success to the accessible and tailored loans of the Credit Union Network.

They are enterprising, resilient, and resourceful—these women from towns and villages who work in agri-food processing, weaving, dyeing, sewing, small businesses, and more. Thanks to the accessible and tailored loans offered by the Burkina Faso Credit Union Network (RCPB), they are able to launch, develop, and successfully run their income-generating activities through loans ranging from 5,000 CFA francs to several million CFA francs.

Sidwaya, the newspaper for all Burkinabè, met with some of them. In this report, they share their stories and express their deep gratitude to the Credit Unions for their financial support and flexible terms, which contribute to their economic empowerment and help them escape poverty!

Banking of salaries and allowances of ENSK student teachers

The RCPB is actively involved in the process of transferring salaries and allowances to bank accounts for student teachers at the École Normale Supérieure de Koudougou.

This initiative, which began on October 9 and will continue until tomorrow, October 12, aims to formalize and secure payments to students in training.

By facilitating access to banking services, the RCPB is contributing to the modernization of the salary management system, thus promoting transparency and traceability of transactions.

This process is essential to ensure that student teachers receive their funds efficiently and quickly, while raising their awareness of the importance of banking in managing their personal finances.
